Banner ad testing

01 — Project details

Our Bank marketing channel at Capital One was given space on the company home page for two sets of banner tests. Set 1, which included two previous winning ads and two new ads, focused on showcasing four main products. Set 2 was an A/B test for checking only with variations in the headline.

02 — Creative process

My goal was to make sure that the two new banners for Set 1 matched the voice and energy of the previously successful ads while using results from user testing to inform copy choices. For Set 2, the headlines needed to be compelling but distinct, enticing customers to sign up for our checking product.
